Hi folks,

im a really newbie here (and in the java languaje).

Im studying alone at home as hobby. I started 1 month ago with java and game developement, so figure it out.

My main problem is that every sub-forum has both 2d and 3d apps, problems, codes, etc togheter.

I guess im not the only one thinking that 3d is not something im capable to learn at the moment.
Even the newbie subforum looks really hard for me (i understand 15% of the questions, which are almost all 3d related).

it could be useful to find exactly what you need faster. Example: if you need x code or x suggestion, its not the same if you are making a 2d app or 3d (one dimension makes a biiiig difference).

another solution to this problem (without moving TONNNNNS of messages to their respective section) could be adding (or tell the users to add) [2D] or  [3D] in front of the thread name (or [NULL] in case its a general question)

what do you think then?

RTS game or a big rock-paper-sissors ?

*shudder*

That just adds clutter for a very minor benefit.

if your not sure what topics other people are posting about, and if you are interested,
feel free to ask them to explain for the sake of a newbie.

People would rather give a detailed explanation then get no feedback on there post, so im sure they wont get upset at such a request.

to many title rules, would just make threads full of moderator posts correcting wrong use of forum.
