When I enable lightning on both sides of an element as:

    gl.glLightModeli(GL.GL_LIGHT_MODEL_TWO_SIDE, 1);

The result is strange on my Dell Latitude running Suse Linux.

I've used Gears to show the example (attached).

Is this a JoGL bug or an ATI driver issue?

Hi,

I really think that this bug is related to the drivers for your graphic card.
